It's Okay To Ask For Help

In honor of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth today's #Self-CareSunday is an important reminder to everyone that there's nothing wrong with asking for help.

Finding the right health care professional or program can be a lot of work. Here’s where you can start. 👇

1. Ask someone you trust for a recommendation like a doctor, social worker, loved ones, or friends you trust.

2. During your search, look for treatment or support that: Accepts your insurance or offers free or low-cost services

3. If the cost is keeping you from getting help, learn about how to pay for treatment or find free or low-cost options at https://buff.ly/3WrjmQm

If you are feeling alone and having thoughts of suicide—whether or not you are in crisis—or know someone who is, don’t remain silent. Talk to someone you can trust through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Call or text 988 or chat the lifeline.
