When unexpectedly having to bury her son, Cari navigated through life continuing to empower and uplift others. She has helped numerous people, but the most impactful situation was when she helped a single mother of 3 children through homelessness. Cari silently pours into our community and doesn't expect anything in return. I have never met someone so selfless and who loves on people the way she does. She shows others there is hope in this world.
Fun Fact: Cari promotes self care and provides holistic care education through blogs, an extensive website, retreats, workshops and group sessions.
There is a boutique on her website with all sorts of self care products including t-shirts, bags etc with self care sayings on them as well as things such as essential oils that can support your self care routine. Check out the links below!

What do you think has been the key to your success?
The secret to the success at Her-Being Matters/ In My Own Skin Boutique lies in the unwavering unconditional love, the commitment to God-given authenticity, holistic wellness, and the celebration of her whole being. I believe that true success is not just measured in sales, it’s about healing and saving souls, it’s in the transformative impact I have on the lives of the women and people I serve. My curated collection of wellness and self-care products is carefully chosen to align with my values of soul-care, self-love, and a deep connection with God. By fostering a community that embraces authenticity and self-discovery, I have created more than just a boutique; I cultivated a movement where women feel empowered to love and be comfortable in the skin that God has purposely and uniquely designed for them. My success is rooted in the genuine connections I build with my customers who are more than customers but Beautiful Souls, providing them with not just products but a pathway to a more fulfilling and authentic life.
What message do you have for adults or youth who may be struggling with things right now?
To anyone currently facing challenges, I would like to extend a message of love, hope and encouragement. Life can be a journey filled with ups and downs, and it’s during the challenging moments that we often discover our greatest strengths.
Remember that healing is apart of your journey, and you deserve the love and compassion you are seeking. Embrace self-love as a guiding light on your path to healing. Reflect on the strength within you, and know that healing is a courageous and transformative process. Surround yourself with supportive people, positive influences, seek professional help if needed, engage in activities that nurture your well-being, and allow time to be a gentle companion in your journey toward your wholeness. You are deserving of love, and as you navigate through challenges, may you discover the resilience and beauty that exists within your heart. Remember, healing is an ongoing process, and every step you take towards self-love may you also redefine it God,s way, and allow it to help you take a step forward towards a brighter, and a more fulfilling future.
Final thoughts: I started Her-Being Matters/ In My Own Skin Boutique, because I believe in the power of self-love, soul-care, self-care, and the transformative impact it can have on your mind, body, and soul.

Who Are They?
Random Acts of Kindness of Gold Canyon (RAKGC) is a small group of local volunteers that solely exists to make a difference improving the lives of others through Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) and providing mainly homemade products to assist those in need.
Random Acts of Kindness of Gold Canyon’s main focus is making products that assist others in need with their daily living. In conjunction with other community programs we strive to meet the needs of our community. Our members and community volunteers create quality products that are donated to individuals and facilities in need. It is not unusual for RAKGC members and volunteers to produce 8,000 to 10,000 pieces of product each year. We rely solely on our member’s volunteer hours and our giving, caring community for their donations. The hearts of these two groups of people make Random Acts of Kindness of Gold Canyon successful and where we are today.
