Helping Teens Pause Before Big Choices 🎲
Teens often make risky decisions not because they want to make bad choices, but because decisions happen fast when emotions or peer pressure are involved. One of the strongest resilience skills we can teach is simple-

Pause before you decide.
A helpful tool is the Decision Dice: six simple things teens can do before making a choice they might regret:
🎲 Wait 10 minutes
🎲 Talk to someone you trust
🎲 Drink water or grab a snack
🎲 Step outside for a reset
🎲 Think about tomorrow's consequences
🎲 Do something else first
Even a short pause can help teens move from reacting to choosing.
Strong decisions are not about perfection. They are about giving yourself time to think.
