“I want to thank Mike Harding and Pat Smith for attending the awards luncheon and helping to represent the coalition,” Apache Junction resident Shelly Verley, StandUp AJ’s coordinator, said.
“Thank you to Vanessa Hammond for creating some very eye-catching flyers for the contest and for being willing to help take them around to schools. I also want to thank Mr. Harding for all the help with the contest and luncheon. Throughout the entire process, Mr. Harding was only a call or text away when something needed to be done and even brought extra tables, chairs and shade tents from his church to help make the event much more pleasant,” she said.
