APACHE JUNCTION, AZ - On August 21, 1922, George Cleveland Curtis gave Apache Junction its name. To kick off the year-long celebration of the founding of Apache Junction, there will be a major event on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 10:00am to 7:00pm at Prospector Park in Apache Junction. This event is Free to the Public and will open with a Presentation of the Colors by the Apache Junction High School ROTC Color Guard and close with an awesome fireworks display.
Live Entertainment will be provided throughout the day on the stage by local bands “Mogollon”, “Highway 85”, and “Outside the Line”.
